Dickson Art
Much of my work is liminal in nature. For me, liminality refers to the transitional relationships between thought, space and time. My work attempts to capture that moment of active creation by a living, breathing body within the open space of the imagination. Before the act of knowing interferes—giving concrete form to a thought an image or an act—there is space for pure possibility. My art is engaged in the paradoxical attempt to capture that moment of pure liminality in a concrete form, giving plastic form to movement, transition and change from one possibility to another.
